The Weight Biology Kit is the first and only at-home lab kit designed by a physician and dedicated to evidence-based weight-loss solutions. Order your kit, provide your sample, and send it back to our labs. Within a few days, you’ll be able to review your results and your personalized Weight Biology Report in our online portal to better understand your metabolic health.
Your Weight Biology Kit includes two lancets, two alcohol prep pads, two gauze pads, two bandages, and a card to collect your sample. It also includes one foil pouch, one specimen bag, and one return bubble mailer to send your sample back to our labs.
Samples must be collected on an empty stomach before 10 AM. Please make sure you have not consumed any food or drink (with the exception of water) within 10 hours of taking your sample. This is an important step to make sure we can get accurate results.
Once you have received your Weight Biology Kit, you have 6 months to register the kit in your portal before it expires. After you take your blood sample, you have ~48 hours to send it back to the lab. After collection, your lab won’t expire for ten days but we urge you to return your kit in 48 hours to account for any potential delay in shipment.
Your Weight Biology Kit will contain a return mail envelope with a prepaid shipping label. Follow the instructions provided. Place your sample into the biohazard bag and ensure it is sealed tightly. Then place your biohazard bag in the return mail envelope. Mail back your sample using a local USPS dropbox or your own mailbox.
